Colman Domingo’s first starring role on TV
Narrative
Muncie Daniels, a media commentator, must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos. When I started watching, I was really impressed.
The first episode was really exciting and suspenseful
I love crime novels, so I couldn’t wait to watch this series. The acting is excellent from start to finish, and kudos to the cast for making this series watchable.
They are brilliant with a very bad script
I found the dialogue to be very awkward, and some of the decisions made by the main characters were simply unbelievable. The plot is interesting overall, but honestly a bit confusing.
I think it has some good elements that reflect on racism, right-wing groups, etc
but I got the feeling that it tried to stay on the sidelines in terms of who was at fault. Despite this, I felt empathy for the family from beginning to end, and that’s thanks to the acting.
